has launched an affordable audio streamer that brings lossless audio streaming to the table. The FiiO SR11 is seen as a solid competitor to the WiiM Pro and allows the user to stream audio from streaming services like Amazon Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
The SR11 can stream from streaming platforms when connected to a hi-fi system, active speakers, or radio. The gadget supports Roon Ready and Apple AirPlay. Roon Ready support means that the SR11 can stream audio from an offline NAS drive, while AirPlay allows you to stream audio wirelessly from an Apple device. The SR11 can be paired with a tablet, laptop, or phone to control the playback conveniently. You can also use the remote control that comes with the audio streamer.
The FiiO SR11 has a dual-band WiFi chip that ensures stable streaming. It also has a built-in Ethernet port for a more reliable connection. The device has USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and an optical coaxial port for output. The gadget has a built-in LCD screen that displays the network status, volume level, and operating mode. The model, however, omits a DAC, unlike the WiiM Pro. The FiiO SR11 is currently priced at $99 and can be purchased directly via the FiiO website.
