FGV ‘cooperating with authorities’ on arrest of senior officer

CONFIRMING the arrest of one of its senior officers yesterday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission for allegedly accepting gratification worth RM10,000 yesterday, FGV Holdings Bhd said it is cooperating with the authorities and will lend all assistance required. Its group chief executive officer, Haris Fadzilah Hassan, said FGV is taking steps to “strengthen internal whistleblowing processes and to reaffirm our commitment to good governance and exemplary corporate conduct”.
