Oyetola noted that the six mooring boats, which would ensure safety of vessels while berthing, was FG’s way of further enhancing security and safety of the maritime space, emphasising that it would deepen efficiencies and full capacity in the utilisation of the strategic advantages of Onne and other Port complexes in the eastern axis and as well constitutes one of the tools deployed in actualising the Key Performance Indicators assigned to the ministry under the Presidential Performance Bond.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, yesterday, refused to grant bail to the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra , Nnamdi Kanu, over the terrorism charges against him. Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has said the Federal Government can foreign exchange crisis by advancing fiscal policies to encourage manufacturers to boost local production and access necessary credit to boost exports of Nigerian products.

The House of Representatives, yesterday, appealed to the Federal Government to ban and criminalise the importation of Adire, Kampala and other similar locally produced fabric into the country.
