The Festival of Ideas Putrajaya (FOI) 2024 kicked off at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) offering 10,000 job opportunities for university, polytechnic, and community college graduates. The event, which runs for three days, is expected to attract approximately 250,000 visitors.
PUTRAJAYA: The Festival of Ideas Putrajaya ( FOI ) 2024, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) for three days from yesterday to Friday, offers 10,000 job opportunities . Minister of Higher Education , Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, highlighted the collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Social Security Organization ( PERKESO ) to provide job opportunities for university, polytechnic, and community college graduates.
The festival was expected to attract approximately 250,000 visitors, with a focus on innovative product exhibits, research from higher education institutions, success stories of Idea Malaysia, cultural exchange programs involving local and international students, and discussions on current issues. However, students were advised to avoid outdoor activities, especially water-related ones, due to the Northeast Monsoon (NEM) phenomenon
