The Red Bulls parted ways with coach Gerhard Struber on Monday and promoted assistant Troy Lesesne as interim coach through the rest of the season. Fernandez, a Bronx native, scored a chip shot from distance that New York City goalkeeper Luis Barraza couldn't get to.The Red Bulls had won just one of their first 11 games this season and were at the bottom of the Eastern Conference Standings.
