“Air darat rendah menyebabkan air laut masuk dan tidak boleh keluar hingga banjir di kawasan rendah semasa air pasang besar yang dijangka selama beberapa hari sehingga semalam,” katanya. Terdahulu, pengguna media sosial memuat naik gambar kawasan awam, termasuk kesukaran kenderaan melalui jalan raya yang dinaiki air apabila berlaku hujan lebat sejak beberapa hari.
Beliau berkata seramai enam mangsa daripada sebuah keluarga dipindahkan ke Dewan Bagan Pinang berikutan berlaku tanah runtuh selepas hujan lebat di Taman Sri Pinang, pada awal pagi semalam.
