CORONAVIRUS | The company has instructed its employees at HQ to temporarily work from home.
| Felcra Berhad today confirmed that a member of its board of directors has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, it said the management took a drastic measure by instructing the workers based at the headquarters to work from home until Friday.The company has identified employees who came in close contact with the affected member and they are currently at the hospital undergoing screening tests.new Covid-19 cases which could be traced back to Patient 26.
Patient 26 is a senior member of the Khazanah Nasional Berhad and UDA Holdings Berhad, who had also come in close contact with a former minister and former deputy minister but both were tested negative.The seven new Covid-19 infections bring the total tally in Malaysia to 36 cases.The bulk of the cases are in China where the virus first broke out, but it has now spread to other parts of the world.
Some countries are struggling to contain the virus and have seen an exponential increase in cases including South Korea , Iran and Italy .
