The federal government is set to crack down on the importation and sale of up to 90 million illegal nicotine vapes.

Plain packaging, new taxes and increased border checks are all being considered as the government tries to stop children from becoming addicted to vaping.

The use of illegal nicotine vapes has been linked to a decline in student behaviour in classrooms across the country while the rise in vape use has also caused environmental concerns due to the amount of plastic unable to be recycled.
