The Federal Reserve releases the minutes of its Dec. 10-11 meeting on Friday at 2 p.m. EST, shedding light on the degree to which central bank officials are rethinking their approach to raising or lowering interest rates.
Officials voted to hold their benchmark rate steady in a range between 1.5% and 1.75% at the meeting after cutting it by a quarter percentage point at each of its previous three meetings.
