The Nation Newspaper Fed Govt to upgrade facilities, laboratories of 50 public secondary schools nationwide
The federal government said it has commenced the upgrade of the facilities and laboratories of 50 select public senior secondary schools across the country.In a statement on Sunday by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, NSSEC, Fatima Bappare, the executive secretary told the commissioner that Government College, Nasarawa, was among the selected schools for the upgrade.
The executive secretary said: “Upgrade of the 50 selected senior secondary schools across the nation, which was captured in the 2024 budget, is a clear testimony of this administration’s commitment to the development of Senior Secondary Education in the country.” The Principal of Government College, Nasarawa, Gambo Sulieman, expressed confidence that the upgrade would be a success.
