The Nation Newspaper Fed Govt sets next year to complete Abuja- Kaduna-Katsina-Kano roads
The Federal Government is determined to complete the ongoing Abuja-Kaduna-Kastina-Kano highway next year, Works Minister David Umahi has said.
In a statement yesterday in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media, Uchenna Orji, the minister said the ongoing project was inherited from the past administration. “The design of the highway is being handled with dispatch by the Federal Ministry of Works and the project would cover the old African trade route of Sokoto, Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, and Lagos states, connecting to Badagry,” he added.
