KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI ended the morning closer to the key 1,600 support as profit-taking intensified ahead of a key US inflation report scheduled for release tonight.
A total of 560 stocks were in the red compared with 337 gainers after 1.51 billion shares changed hands for RM1.14bil. Asian markets on Wednesday were seen dipping on fears a higher-than-expected inflation print will lead to the central bank leaving rates higher for longer.
