The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) rebounded today, ending a two-day losing streak on the back of broader gains in regional markets. The index advanced 2.24 points or 0.14% to 1,599.58, trading within a range of 7.63 points. Nestle, United Plantations, Tenaga Nasional, and Carlsberg were among the top gainers, while PETRONAS Dagangan was the biggest loser. Foreign investors sold a net RM368 million on Tuesday, while local institutions and retailers were net buyers.

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI rebounded today, snapping a two-day losing streak amid broadly higher regional markets.

Stocks that fell outnumbered those that rose 501 to 480, with another 562 counters unchanged. A total of 2.5 billion shares changed hands, worth RM2.3bil. PETRONAS Dagangan, the biggest loser on Bursa Malaysia slid 30 sen to RM20.24. Ayer fell 27 sen to RM7.20,Carlo Rino, the most actively traded counter on Bursa Malaysia fell 14.81%, or four sen to 23 sen with 139.38 million shares done.
