Officials say the crash, which killed two adults and injured dozens of students from Farmingdale High School, may have been caused by a faulty front tire.
The two adults killed were a 43-year-old woman and a 77-year-old woman. Middletown, New York Mayor Joseph M. DeStefano walks us through the town's response to the bus crash and the next steps in the investigation.According to New York State Police, the failure of a front tire may have caused the accident.
Students will have the opportunity to stretch and meet with grief counselors. Once cleared, they will be returning to Farmingdale High School.
