Malaysian police have detained a 29-year-old farm worker in connection with the murder of a 38-year-old man found dead in a shop in Bukit Sekilau, Kuantan. The suspect, an acquaintance of the victim, was arrested at the scene of the crime around 8:30 p.m. The victim, originally from Sri Jaya, Maran, was found dead in his air conditioning shop. Police received a call from the victim's mother around 3 p.m. and a team of police officers, forensic units, and forensic pathologists from Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan were dispatched to the scene. During the investigation, evidence of foul play was found on the victim's body, leading to the arrest.
