During a Global Investor Business Update, the company said they now intend to start production in late March and have the first

roll off the assembly line the following month. They then hope to begin deliveries towards the end of April.However, there’s no guarantee this will happen as everything is “subject to the timely availability of $150 to $170 million of additional funding and timely stockholder approval of an authorized share increase.

Despite the uncertainty, the company said testing and validation continues. They added the vehicle has benefited from “significant upgrades” to 26 major systems and components. Half of these updates were made to the powertrain, battery, charging, chassis, and interior while the other half focused on computing, sensing, communication, and user interaction. Faraday Future didn’t go into many specifics but released a slide indicating the updates include redesigned center consoles.

Interestingly, the presentation started with a video saying “before disrupting an industry, we take inspiration from it.” It then showed theadvertisement scroll to continue This is interesting to note as the FF 91 is so far behind schedule that it debuted before those vehicles were introduced, making the inspiration claims rather dubious.
