A popular Malaysian comedian is reportedly under arrest in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for possessing cannabis during his Umrah pilgrimage.
A famous comedian is reportedly detained in Jeddah for allegedly possessing cannabis during his Umrah pilgrimage recently. According to sources, the comedian is believed to have been arrested two months ago at King Abdulaziz International Airport and remains in custody for further investigation by Saudi Arabian authorities. The source added that the celebrity was reportedly performing Umrah with his friends but was detained after being suspected of carrying prohibited substances.
However, the celebrity is still active on social media with several new posts uploaded, but the content is believed to be managed by his management team. Moreover, the comedian is said to be appearing in a television program that was pre-recorded before the arrest incident. Currently, there is no further information regarding the validity of the case.
