A near-complete Porter Davis home has been destroyed by a fire in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

Grant Thorton, the liquidator for Porter Davis, earlier said it was in talks with a number of “reputable” builders to complete the build of unfinished homes for customers. “A number of them [creditors] will be owed money and a lot of those subcontractors, businesses in their own right, so it’s a big issue for them as well.”
