The family of a 95-year-old great-grandmother who died after allegedly being tasered by police in May has filed a civil lawsuit against the state of New South Wales.Mrs Nowland had eight children, 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildrenClare Nowland was hospitalised in a critical condition after falling and fracturing her skull.
The civil matter, filed under Mrs Nowland's name, was listed in Bega District Court on Tuesday morning for a pre-trial conference and has been adjourned until late August.He is facing charges of recklessly causing grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault.when Mr White was allowed to appear via videolink without his knowledge.She had eight children, 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
