The brother of a mother of three killed in San Diego’s Lincoln Park neighborhood said his sister was the backbone of the family, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of.
Police say Galvan and at least one other man became involved in an altercation with the 12-year-old's father as Chea and her son"came upon Galvan and his companions in the parking area behind their apartment complex.''
He is charged with murder, assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle while in a public place. Police are still searching for a third man who may have been involved in the incident. Shebloski said that man, described as"possibly an Asian male in his late 20s or early 30s,'' was seen running from the scene and is considered a person of interest.
