UPDATE: Family members identify teen gravely injured after being shot by stray bullets in Wissinoming
PHILADELPHIA -- Family members of a 15-year-old who was shot by stray bullets Thursday night in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia is brain dead and may only survive for another day.
Sean Toomey was shot around 9:12 p.m. on the 6200 block of Mulberry Street in the city's Wissinoming section.Investigators say this all began when three suspects tried to rob a woman at an ATM located at Robbins and Mulberry streets just minutes beforehand.Then, two of the suspects allegedly approached a woman in a car as she was pulling into an apartment complex on Mulberry Street.
