Facebook profit slumps over set-aside US$5 billion fine

FACEBOOK yesterday reported quarterly profit sank 51% from a year earlier due to setting aside US$3 billion for an anticipated fine from American regulators. The leading social network logged a profit of US$2.4 billion on revenue that climbed 26% to US$15.1 billion in the first three months of this year.
