It's not just you: Facebook's apps are having an outage.

Zuckerberg said Facebook will start to emphasize new privacy-shielding messaging services, a shift apparently intended to blunt both criticism of the company's data handling and potential antitrust action. The Silicon Valley social network, as well as its photo app Instagram and messaging platform Messenger, went down for some users on Wednesday.
