The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria , has announced that power supply will be disconnected at the Lagos airport on June 5, to allow for maintenance work.In a statement on Tuesday obtained by Channels Television, FAAN’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, Obiageli Orah, said the maintenance is necessary to address urgent issues with the bus riser 11 kilo-volt-amperes high tension panel located on the ground floor, north of international terminal 2 .

“This is as a result of the urgent need to verify the issues affecting the Bus Riser 11KVA high tension panel on the ground floor, North of the International Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. The authority advised all passengers on these flights to take note, expressing regret for any inconvenience the maintenance may cause to stakeholders and the travelling public.
