Visitors to the city area will find several roads closed for a week from Sept 18, in preparation for the 2024 Formula One night race, which roars back into town on Sept 20.
To facilitate morning and evening peak-hour traffic, certain road corridors will reopen during selected hours on four out of the seven days of closure. Members of the public and F1 ticket holders are encouraged to take public transport to the Marina Centre and Padang areas during the week of road closures.
