Eya Laure has decided to move on to another chapter of her volleyball career by bidding farewell to her alma mater, University of Santo Tomas. ManilaBulletin READ:
Laure made the announcement on social media Thursday night, May 25, thanking the school and the community for the support she has received for the past 12 years.“Yun ang salita na lagi lalabas sa bibig ko simula ng pagtapak ko sa school na to hanggang sa moment na I have to say goodbye sa school na sinamahan ako at hindi din ako sinukuan kahit anong mangyari. Kundi di dahil sa inyo hindi ko siguro maabot ang mga pangarap ko,” she added.
“Para akong nakikipag-break sa libu-libong tao and my heart shattering into pieces. Ang sakit at ang hirap magpaalam,” she wrote. “Patawad dahil hindi ko naibigay yung championship na deserve niyo. But more than that, salamat. Parang sasabog ang dibdib ko sa sobrang laki ng pasasalamat na meron ako sa inyo,” she wrote.
