PETALING JAYA: Do expectations meet reality?
It may not yet be the case for Ng Tze Yong and Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, says former badminton great Datuk Rashid Sidek.
Tze Yong is currently the Badminton Association of Malaysia’s No. 1 singles player in the absence of Lee Zii Jia who has decided to become an independent player. He has had a mixture of good and poor results this year. His best was a semi-final finish at the Indian Open and his two upset wins against Hong Kong players Angus Ng Ka Long and Lee Cheuk Yiu in the Singapore Open that ended yesterday.
They have also done well to reach the Malaysian Open semi-finals but crashed out in the first hurdle at the Singapore Open.
