EXECUTING Nagaethran K. Dharmalingam for drug trafficking may seem like a symbolic victory for Singapore, but it will not change or reduce drug offences from happening in the country, DAP leader P. Ramasamy said today. The Penang deputy chief minister II urged Singapore to show clemency to Nagaethran, who has an intellectual disability, and whom he described as merely a pawn in the global drug trade.
