The Nation Newspaper Excitement as Lagos receives solo London-Lagos driver

has saluted the resilience and doggedness of a Nigerian, Ms Pelumi Nubi, who embarked on a solo drive from London to Lagos.

Nubi was welcomed by Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Toke Benson, Special Adviser on Tourism, Idris Aregbe, her parents, students from the University of Lagos , among other well wishers. While narrating her experiences on the solo trip, Nubi, thanked God and Nigerians for the support given her during her live reportage of the solo trip.

Nubi also visited UNILAG where her father lectures while the Lagos cultural troupe entertained her on arrival at Seme border.
