State Umno women chief Jainab Ahmad Ayid told FMT that people living in the Sabah east coast have complained about the indiscriminate use of pump boats in the area.“As a result, we can see a lot of pump boats being used mainly in the Sabah east coast nowadays,” said Jainab, who is a former state minister.

“Other than beefing up security on our waters, the pump boats must go too, as a precautionary step,” she added.
