A full report on the financial transactions of MMC was submitted to MACC, he told reporters after lodging the report at its office here at 11.45am. “We must remember that the hospital was set up with public contributions and funds extended by the government, maybe because of the political influence and status of the late Datuk Dr Yeow Chai Thiam then.

He said that as at 2015, MMC had received financial assistance of RM1.14 million in the form of subsidies and grants and RM9 million to buy medical equipment.
