agents in San Antonio began investigating Jared Lane Wise, 50, after receiving a tip that he'd claimed to have been in the Capitol that day.
Wise lived in an apartment on Landa Street in New Braunfels until last June, then moved to Bend, Ore., according to an arrest affidavit and other public documents. Investigators said in court documents that security video showed that Wise entered the Capitol through the Senate-wing door at 2:23 p.m., clapping his hands and then raising them in an apparent victory sign. He's believed to have exited the building through a window about 10 minutes later.At 4:21 p.m.
