Speaking on the podcast “,” Mariucci, who coached the 49ers from 1997 to 2002, told the story of a truly unhinged evening he spent in Philadelphia.
“Then some streaker goes flying by,” Mariucci recounted. “And I go, ‘Wow, let’s watch this. This is going to be good.”After the streaker was tackled to the ground by stadium security — much to the delight of the Philadelphia crowd — Mariucci returned to the sideline, ready to get on with the game. But another surprise was in store.
