'Katy Keene' is a new spin-off to 'Riverdale' on The CW that sees Josie McCoy move to New York to join a new cast of young aspiring creatives.
' Zane Holtz, playing Alexander Cabot and K.O. Kelly, the love interests of Josie and Katy respectively.cast members who could star on the spin-off in the future. So far, the only confirmed star is Robin Givens, due to appear on Katy Keene as Josie's mother Sierra. This was revealed by executive producer Michael Grassi at a Tribeca TV Festival screening, who said,"We love Robin Givens...she will come visit for sure.
At the same event, the producer also teased one of Riverdale's boxers would fight against K.O. and that the Pussycats would also come back,"but probably not in the way you expect."The CW has released an extensive synopsis for their new series.
"Katy designs clothes for anyone she can, including her friend and roommate Josie, whose singing talent catches the attention of Alexander Cabot , a CEO who hopes to reboot the record label division of his father's corporate empire. But Alexander's dream of signing Josie to a recording contract meets resistance from Cabot Media's powerful senior vice president Alexandra , who also happens to be his twin sister.
