All 18 AFL clubs will travel to South Australia this weekend as the AFL hosts its inaugural Gather Round. Here's your need to know guide for the weekend of footy.
More than 200,000 tickets have already been purchased and seven of the nine fixtures this weekend are completely sold out.It is the AFL’s response to the NRL’s hugely successful Magic Round which sees every game of the week played at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
Six of the top seven teams will face off against each other over the weekend, treating fans to many of the most anticipated games of the year. There will be dedicated Norwood and Mount Barker bus shuttle services to and from the AFL Hub at Elder Park on King William Rd.Footy fans will get free public transport to and from the games throughout Gather Round.
