Lexus engineers worked to increase the overall rigidity by adding welds and adhesives to the TX. Moreover, the steering system and rear section have been strengthened. The adoption of a rear multi-link suspension, widened tracks, and wheel sizes ranging from 20 to 22 inches elevates driver engagement to Lexus Driving Signature levels.
All-wheel drive variants benefit from Lexus’ DIRECT4 electronic all-wheel drive system that provides instant responses that no mechanical system can offer. Dynamic Rear Steering also enables the rear wheels to turn in the same direction as the front to give more stable response. The system turns the wheels in the opposite direction as the front for improved low speed maneuverability and a reduced turning circle.
