The funniest, dirtiest movie of 2023 is Dicks: The Musical, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, and it's filled with a dozen wonderfully hilarious songs.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Dicks: The Musical is full of hilariously raunchy songs, though some of the soundtrack's selections rank higher than others in terms of their greatness. The plot of the movie follows two factory workers who discover they are identical twins and decide to get their mother and father back together, like The Parent Trap but filled with both innuendo-laden and sexually explicit tunes.
9 "Evelyn Song" Megan Mullally makes a meal out of this fast-paced track, which establishes her character. Like much of the movie, "Evelyn Song" is filled with idiosyncratic lyrics that are, in the best way, nonsensical. The tune grows from a sweet theatrical soprano melody and then the tempo and melody change into a patter song that sees her rattling off her many flaws and quirks.
6 "I'll Always Be On Top" The first song in Dicks: The Musical, and the first of several duets for the twins, sees both characters introduced by bragging about their financial, and sexual, successes. "I'll Always Be on Top" is a highly theatrical song, with hilariously to-the-point lyrics. Beyond the innuendo of the repeated title, an entire verse is dedicated to one of the characters singing about how big his penis is.
Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson deliver their lines with a charming innocence that contrasts the dark lyrics of the "You Can't Give Up," which the genuinely rousing music does as well. One of the twins even attempts a hilariously awful riff. The contrast between dark comedy and an upbeat melody make this one of the best songs on the Dicks: The Musical soundtrack.
