The 27th anniversary of "Bubble Gang" is not all about laughs. It also tackles issues that a lot of viewers can relate to.
In the second half of the anniversary special of the comedy show, Michael V performed his take on the trending song "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw." Titled "Gusto Ko Nang Bumigay," the King of Philippine Parody showed a heartfelt performance inspired by a story of a closeted LGBTQIA+ member who wants to come out and celebrate their true self., including "Drag Race Philippines" finalist Eva Le Queen.
On Sunday, the drag queen retweeted Michael V's "Bubble Gang" performance and shared her thoughts on Twitter. Story of a gay man who wanted to come out late in life surely is a redemption from that old, problematic song ‘Hindi ako Bakla’. The words ‘hindi naman nagpabaya.
