kotakinabalu Pendatang asing tanpa izin dikesan menggunakan laluan tikus di Zon Selamat Timur Sabah (ESSZONE) untuk menyusup keluar masuk ke Sabah.
Komander Kawasan Keselamatan Khas Pantai Timur Sabah, Datuk Hazani Ghazali berkata, sebahagian laluan itu ada dikesan dari Pulau Sebatik, Tawau ke Kalabakan dan sehingga di Long Pasia dekat Sipitang.
Bagaimanapun, katanya, tindakan pendatang haram itu hanya mengakibatkan diri mereka berdepan tindakan dan hukuman undang-undang di Malaysia apabila tertangkap. Mengulas lanjut, Hazani berkata terbaharu pihaknya berjaya mengesan enam individu dari Indonesia menyusup masuk ke Sabah menggunakan laluan tikus di Kalabakan."Sehubungan itu, kita juga bekerjasama dengan Pejabat Kesihatan Kawasan agar kesemua mereka yang dikesan ini menjalani ujian saringan Covid-19," katanya.
