Filipino swimmer Ernie Galiwan delivers the first top podium finish in the 4th Asian Para Games in China.
Ernie Gawilan secured the Philippines' first gold medal in the 4th Asian Para Games after ruling the men's 400 meters freestyle-S7 with an official time of 4:58.29 on Tuesday in Hangzhou, China.
Singapore's Wei Soon Teh and hometown bet Xianquan Huang came in at second and third place, respectively. It was Gawilan's second Para Games medal as he settled for a bronze in the men's 200 meters IM-SM7 on Monday.
