Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has claimed Arsenal are acting “too intense” this season in their bid to mount a title bid against Manchester City.
This season, Mikel Arteta’s men have started with four wins from six, but still find themselves four points adrift of City, having drawn twice at the Emirates against Fulham and Tottenham. Speaking to the Stick to Football podcast, Carragher said: “I noticed in the Community Shield – and something stuck with me – and I said that I felt like I was watching Arsenal in the run in and it’s only the start of the season with the celebrations, or it feels like every game is going to the wire.
