The franchise began in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was later followed by The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Between 1992-1996 The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles aired on TV, although the series was later renamed The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones.

While the four movies were already available to stream on Paramount+, The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones was only available to rent or purchase through Amazon Prime Video.

The question is whether the franchise can continue without Ford playing the titular character, especially with Disney calling Dial of Destiny the "final Indiana Jones adventure."
