SINGAPORE, April 17 — Singapore’s total trade fell 8.6 per cent on a year-on-year basis in March with total exports and imports declining by 6.5 per cent and 10.9 per cent, respectively.

“Total trade reached S$104.0 billion in March 2023, higher than the previous month’s S$96.4 billion,” it said. Electronics declined by 22.3 per cent in March, following the 26.5 per cent contraction in the previous month while non-electronic products decreased by 4.7 per cent following the 12.4 per cent contraction in the previous month.
