SEREMBAN: Enforcement officers have seized almost 35,000kg of sugar packed in 1kg packets from a warehouse in Sendayan Tech Valley near here.
State Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs director Muhammad Zahir Mazlan said checks by his officers during a raid on Thursday revealed that the company had yet to get approval to store the controlled item in their premises."Not having a valid licence to store the controlled item is an offence.
Muhammad Zahir said in a separate raid carried out on the same day, his officers seized 10,550 litres of diesel, which was also a controlled item from an unnumbered premises in Kg Bemban near here.
