Nigerian Singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has called for an entertainment break in the country. Spyro made the call on Thursday amid the ongoing nationwide hunger protest tagged #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria. The singer also urged religious leaders to intervene.

In a now trending post on his Instagram story, the singer, who expressed hopes that the government would listen, charged other celebrities to lend their voice to the protest. “I personally think it is quite insensitive to post anything entertainment now. The Country is bleeding and we are all affected whether we agree to that fact or not. I am very much affected and i particularly feel the pain of the average man.
