Eminem put the 'rock' in Rock Hall inductions on Saturday night.

LOS ANGELES – For the second year in a row, a rapper delivered the most jaw-dropping performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Eminem’s much-anticipated induction began Saturday night with Dr. Dre, returning for the second straight year to induct the artist he helped bring to fame with 1999′s “The Slim Shady LP.” “Eminem flipped hip hop on its head,” Dre continued. “While forcing us to confront our own biases, growing not only the genre but all of us along with it.”

The surprises didn’t end there. Pop star Ed Sheeran showed up to play acoustic guitar and sing the chorus on Eminem’s legendary storytelling anthem “Stan.” The rapper then went solo for his verse from Drake’s “Forever” before closing things out with “Not Afraid.”“This s--t is crazy,” Eminem said before reading from a piece of paper. “I realize what an honor it is for me to be up here tonight and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love and the music that basically saved my life.
