Embattled pastor staying in his church compound, says Davao police chief

MANILA: Embattled religious leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is only inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City, a police official said on Thursday .

“Yes, that’s what the indicators and the informants are telling us,” Torre said when asked to confirm if Quiboloy was just inside the KOJC compound.The Pasig City court also issued an arrest warrant against him for alleged human trafficking. Last June 10, some 100 policemen stormed the premises of the KOJC compound in Davao City to serve the warrants of arrest against Quiboloy, but they were prevented by its members from entering.

Torre also bared there was a hangar for Quiboloy’s private helicopters in the compound which the fugitive televangelist could use to escape, and one of his helicopters was active “two weeks ago.”
