The FBI searched President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, on Friday and located six additional documents containing classified markings and also took possession of some of his notes.
The FBI has found classified documents at President Joe Biden’s Delaware home.Though Biden has maintained “there’s no there there,” – a common term in US politics that describes the lack of substance in a particular issue – the discoveries have become a political liability as he prepares to launch a re-election bid, and they undercut his efforts to portray an image of propriety to the American public after the tumultuous presidency of his predecessor, Donald Trump.
“We found a handful of documents were filed in the wrong place,” Biden told reporters on Thursday in California. “We immediately turned them over to the Archives and the Justice Department.”The Justice Department has searched Biden’s home in Delaware and located six documents containing classified markings and also took possession of some of his notes, the president’s lawyer said. The president and first lady Jill Biden were not at the home when it was searched.
Bauer said the FBI requested that the White House not comment on the search before it was conducted, and that Biden’s personal and White House attorneys were present. The FBI, he added, “had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades.
“Since the beginning, the President has been committed to handling this responsibly because he takes this seriously,” White House lawyer Richard Sauber said on Saturday. “The President’s lawyers and White House Counsel’s Office will continue to co-operate with DOJ and the Special Counsel to help ensure this process is conducted swiftly and efficiently.

Joe Biden getting ‘nudged out’ of White HouseThere is speculation the recent media storm against US President Joe Biden is being driven by elements that want to see him retire and not run again, former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says. Revelations of classified White House documents discovered in a private office of Joe Biden's and in his Delaware home following his time as vice president have stifled the momentum Democrats gained following the midterm elections. The first tranche of files was discovered before the midterm elections but was not reported on until recently. 'So some folks are saying that there were forces at hand trying to protect Biden and help him in the midterms,' Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow. 'But now that you get this slow drip, drip of information coming out about new documents ... and for the first time attacking the president in the press. 'It is fuelling that argument that there are people who are using this as an excuse to sort of nudge Joe Biden out.'

Reporters are starting to ‘arc up’ over Biden’s document leaksReporters have started to “arc up” over US President Joe Biden’s document leaks at press briefings due to the FBI and Justice Department’s reluctance to investigate, according to Sky News host James Morrow. “Because, for one thing, they were played for incredible fools,” he said. “They were fed the whole story about nuclear secrets hidden in Melania Trump’s underwear drawer at Mar-a-Lago. “I mean, literally, that is how crazy and insane it was, but not only are some of the press starting to move off the reservation but also this is actually starting to hurt Joe Biden in the polls.”

‘$50k per month in rent’: Hunter Biden’s ’10 per cent for the Big Guy’Sky News host James Morrow has questioned whether Hunter Biden paying his father Joe Biden $50,000 a month in rent could be a link to the notorious '10 per cent for the Big Guy' from one of his business deals. Mr Morrow discussed a tranche of classified White House documents found at President Biden's Delaware residence. 'Joe Biden seems to have been a little careless when it comes to keeping classified documents in secure locations and not where, say, his son Hunter might find them,' Mr Morrow said. 'We also know that Hunter Biden lived at the Delaware address when the documents are thought to have been in the garage – and according to one background check document said he paid $50,000 a month in rent to Joe for the privilege. 'Could that have been some of the notorious ten per cent for the Big Guy we've heard so much about?'
