PETALING JAYA: Food delivery company foodpanda says the late Muhamad Hafiz Muhamad Salleh, who was tragically killed in the Elmina plane crash incident, was one of their best riders can had full insurance coverage.
"He was one of foodpanda's best riders," the company said in a Facebook post on Saturday together with his picture.
"All foodpanda riders are automatically insured for free during working hours. As such the family will be receiving compensation based on the related benefit.On Aug 17, Muhamad Hafiz, who was killed in a plane crash incident on Guthrie Highway at Elmina, Shah Alam. The aircraft, which took off from Langkawi, was cleared to land at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang but crashed into Persiaran Elmina after losing communication with the control tower.
