SEPANG, Aug 20 — Muhammad Sharul Izuan, the eldest son of Sharipuddin Shaari, who died in the plane crash on Guthrie Highway near Bandar Elmina in Shah Alam, Selangor, last Thursday, never thought that the two pictures his father had given him would be the last ‘gift’ he would ever get from him.

“As we were heading to the mall to buy books for my sister, my late father handed me two pictures of himself out of the blue. He said, ‘Take and keep them’,” he told Bernama. Ten individuals, including Pahang Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman and Pelangai assemblyman Datuk Seri Johari Harun, were killed after the Beechcraft Model 390 light business jet flying from Langkawi to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang crashed.
